Keep the trust, change the posture.
Brand building, to me, is perception engineering: an identity that flexes, a character people remember, a posture that moves the business.
How I think about it
Most brand work fails because it accepts what the category already believes about the customer. I start by doubting that. The output — a rebrand, a character, a platform — is downstream of one question: what does this audience actually aspire to that the category keeps ignoring?
