Contact · Start a Conversation
A good first conversation starts before the call.
How to start a conversation — and why a specific note first makes any call that follows far more useful.
The short version
The most productive calls are the ones that don’t start from zero. Rather than book a slot and spend it scoping, send a short note about what you’re trying to do first — then any conversation that follows can go straight to what matters.
What to include
To start a conversation well, send:
- What you’re trying to achieve.
- The type of engagement you think you need (or that you’re unsure).
- Any timing or context that matters.
- The best way and time to reach you.
