Motilal Oswal · Media & Distribution
Owning a commute, not renting a hoarding.
Out-of-home usually buys a few seconds of a glance. We wanted the opposite — to own an entire experience that thousands of people move through, every single day.
Traditional out-of-home buys attention in fragments — a hoarding here, a panel there, all of it competing with everything else in the frame. As part of the rebrand rollout, we wanted a media property that didn’t interrupt the environment but became it.
People ignore advertising. They notice environments. The insight
A commuter tunes out a hundred ads a day on reflex. But they can’t tune out the space they’re standing in. So the move wasn’t to place more branding in the station — it was to make the brand feel like a natural part of the station itself.
A first-of-its-kind full takeover of Malad West metro station: an integrated station experience that replaced traditional branding, making Motilal Oswal feel like part of the space rather than a brand occupying it. It ran alongside other industry-first media plays in the rollout, including a CNBC-TV18 studio takeover — part of the same rebrand.
Continuous visibility, stronger brand recall, and one of the most distinctive transit-media properties in the financial-services category — a multi-award-winning industry property recognised for innovation, brand integration and media effectiveness.
