Free Tool · Brand health

Rate your brand’s health, honestly.

A straightforward self-assessment across the dimensions that actually determine brand strength — usable right here, no email wall.

How to use this

Score your brand from 1 (weak) to 5 (strong) on each dimension below, being honest rather than aspirational. The pattern of scores tells you more than the total — your lowest dimensions are usually where the real opportunity is.

01

Distinctiveness

Is your brand instantly recognisable and clearly different from competitors? Could someone tell it’s you with the logo removed? Weak distinctiveness means you’re forgettable, however good the product.

02

Clarity of positioning

Can you (and your customers) state clearly what you stand for and who you’re for? If your positioning is fuzzy or tries to please everyone, this score is low — and it undermines everything else.

03

Consistency

Do you show up the same way across every touchpoint, over time? Or does the brand shift with every campaign and channel? Inconsistency quietly erodes the memory you’re trying to build.

04

Relevance

Does your brand genuinely matter to your audience — solving a real need, connecting emotionally? A distinctive, consistent brand nobody cares about still fails.

05

Trust

Do people believe what you say and feel safe choosing you? Especially critical in considered and regulated categories. Low trust caps everything above it.

06

Momentum

Is the brand growing in awareness and preference, or standing still? Momentum reflects whether your brand-building is actually compounding or just maintaining.
